Synopsis: You would like to try out a beta version of CensorNet to help with testing

First of all we would like you to understand that the beta release may potentially still contain bugs. In fact, that's why we're asking people to beta test it. If you don't want to report bugs or you don't have the resource to undertake beta testing (time, spare hardware, etc) then please wait for a formal release.

If you do understand the risks and you would like to go ahead anyway - then thank you ! Here's how:

• Please TAKE A BACKUP of your current CensorNet under System -> Maintenance -> Backup
• Log in to your CensorNet server as root
• Change the repository to the beta location by typing:

nano /etc/apt/sources.list

• Scroll down to the bottom of the file and change

deb http://apt.censornet.com hardy non-free

deb http://apt-alpha.censornet.com hardy non-free

• Save and close the file with Ctrl+X then Y then Enter
• Type:

• apt-get update
  

• Type:

apt-get install censornet

• Follow the prompts to install the beta version.
